Marcy Bolster received her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, North Carolina; completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine, Norfolk; and was a fellow in rheumatology at MUSC. She is the author of numerous journal articles, abstracts, and book chapters.
Dr Bolster is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and of the American College of Physicians. She has research interests in scleroderma, osteoporosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. She has been instrumental in the development and perpetuation of a computerized longitudinal scleroderma database.
