Nora Singer received her medical degree from Albany Medical College, New York, and completed a combined internal medicine/pediatric residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, where she subsequently was a fellow in rheumatology and pediatric rheumatology.
Dr Singer was a recipient of the Senior Scholar Award of the American College of Rheumatology. She has focused her basic research efforts on issues of immune development and tissue specific immune responses, and has served as an ad hoc reviewer for Arthritis and Rheumatism, the Journal of Clinical Investigation, the Journal of Immunolgy and as a peer reveiewer for NIAMS. She serves on the Board of Directors and on the Medical and Scientific Committee of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, and is a fellow/member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Rheumatology and the Society for Pediatric Research.
